Description

C-Bond Extra Thick cyanoacrylate is specifically formulated for applications requiring maximum gap filling, superior control, and extended positioning time rather than rapid penetration. Its non-sag, high-viscosity formula is ideal for bonding rough or uneven surfaces, filling small voids, repairing porous materials, and assembling components where precise adhesive placement and durable, high-strength bonds are essential.

Technical Chart:
 Viscosity at 25°C  3000-3200 cps
Color Clear
Setting Speed 10-20 Seconds
Chemical Base  Ethyl Cyanoacrylate

Typical applications include:
  • Woodworking: Filling small gaps, bonding end grain, furniture repair, knots, and trim.
  • Porous materials: MDF, plywood, cork, leather, felt, and many fabrics.
  • Rubber: O-rings, weatherstripping, gaskets, and rubber components.
  • Plastics: ABS, PVC, acrylic, polycarbonate, and many engineering plastics (except difficult plastics like PE, PP, PTFE, and silicone unless a primer is used).
  • Metal: Steel, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel when parts have a close fit or small gaps.
  • Ceramics and stone: Repairing pottery, tile, marble, and decorative stone.
  • Composites: Carbon fiber, fiberglass, and FRP repairs.
  • Vertical surfaces: The high viscosity helps prevent running or dripping, making it ideal for overhead or vertical applications.

Best features:
  • Excellent gap-filling ability.
  • Non-sag formula for vertical surfaces.
  • Gives a few extra seconds to align parts before full fixture.
  • Works well on rough or uneven surfaces.
  •  Less absorbed by porous materials than thin or medium grades.
Recommended Materials:
  • Wood
  • Metal
  • Stone
  • Ceramics
  • Rubber
  • Leather
  • Most plastics
  • Composite materials
Not recommended for:
  • Large structural joints that experience continuous heavy loads.
  • Flexible joints with constant movement.

  • Polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), PTFE (Teflon), or silicone rubber without a suitable primer. Click here to find the suitable product for this application: https://ceccorp.ca/products/po-bond

Instructions

  1. Clean and dry all bonding surfaces.
  2. Apply adhesive to one surface.
  3. Align and press parts together firmly.
  4. Hold for 15–30 seconds until set.
  5. Allow full strength to develop before applying stress.

Premium Formulations

We believe performance should never be sacrificed to reduce cost. Our cyanoacrylate adhesives are formulated without added solvents or plasticizers that can weaken bond strength and reduce durability. Likewise, our epoxy systems are developed using carefully selected raw materials to deliver reliable performance rather than simply meeting a target price.
When you buy CECCORP, you’re getting the formulation we design, not the cheapest formulation we could produce.

Expert Technical Support

Need help choosing the right adhesive?
Our team is available by phone or email to answer your questions, recommend the right product, troubleshoot bonding problems, and help you achieve the best results. Whether you’re a homeowner, woodworker, manufacturer, engineer, or industrial maintenance professional, we’re happy to help, even if you haven’t purchased from us yet. You’re speaking directly with the people who understand the products, not a call center.

Quality is about more than the finished product. We manufacture our products while complying with applicable Canadian laws and regulations regarding workplace safety, environmental responsibility, and ethical business practices. We believe high-performance adhesives should be produced responsibly and with respect for both people and the environment.
